Cholestasys

Cholestasys is a solid formula, but does not include Red Yeast Rice or CoQ10. Ignoring red yeast rice leaves an entire group of enzymes continuing to create new genetic cholesterol. This lowered the genetic cholesterol rating from "complete" to "good." We recommend that if you have high cholesterol and are taking cholestasys, you should further supplement with Red Yeast Rice. The type of niacin used in cholestasys is not specified. Since we cannot verify that the niacin is flush free, this supplement comes with the risk of a flushing side effect. The biggest negative points of Cholestasys are the lack of red yeast rice, CoQ10, formula trials, and the high price tag. All in all, an average supplement with a high price tag. We give it 3 stars. It will lower your cholesterol, but not as effectively as some other options.
